Picardie Autotrans exclusively specializes in the sale of car transporters. The company manager has been working in this industry since 1996, and the company itself has been operating since 2006.
All car transporters shown in the photos on this website accurately represent the actual vehicles available for sale, and the same applies to the information provided about them. These are not photos of other, similar car transporters.
You can purchase a complete car transporter, a tractor unit, or just the car transporter superstructure with a trailer in one of two ways:
Based on the photos or video clips available on our website.
By visiting us and inspecting one or more selected car transporters in person.
If you decide to purchase a car transporter based on the photos, please send us your company details (name, address, EU-valid VAT number, and contact information: phone number, email address, and the contact person's first and last name).
We will then send you a proforma invoice. It will specify the agreed-upon advance payment amount required for the reservation, as well as the full price of the car transporter being purchased.
The car transporter will be ready for pickup on the agreed date. Once full payment is received, you can pick up the vehicle on the same day.
We provide transit registration plates and third-party liability insurance for every car transporter (for both the tractor unit and the trailer). To prepare the insurance for both, we will need a driver's license and a passport or ID card.
Third-party liability insurance can be purchased for a period of 1 to 15 days. The cost of the insurance varies depending on the chosen duration.
Usually, the car transporters are fully equipped. However, car transporters with French or German registration may come without spare tires, as tire replacements during their operation were handled by dedicated tire service companies. The specific equipment of a given car transporter will be discussed at the time of purchase.
The most convenient way for your company representative to visit us is to fly into one of the following airports: Charles de Gaulle (130 km), Paris-Beauvais (100 km), or Brussels-Charleroi (160 km).
It is also possible to inspect the car transporters on a Saturday, but a specific time must be arranged in advance, at least 2–3 days prior to your arrival. Please note that this is not possible every Saturday.
